BFUJ for imposing ban on Al Jazeera transmission found in Bangladesh
Protesting and condemning the yellow journalism of the Qatar-based Al Jazeera television channel, leaders of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) today demanded for imposing a ban in the transmission of the tv set channel in Bangladesh.

“The particular television set channel is definitely playing role against Bangladesh…as the television channel is protecting the interest of a specific anti-state quarter and engaged in tarnishing the image of the country at the international level,” BFUJ president Molla Jalal and secretary general Abdul Majid said this in a joint statement on Friday.

They called after all journalists of the forum to improve their voices against the conspiracy against the united states. The tv set channel has allegedly tried to help make the war criminals’ trial procedure controversial at the worldwide arena, the BFUJ leaders stated.

Possibly the channel has generated confusion over the amount of independence battle martyrs claiming the quantity only three to five 5 lakhs.

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jordan and Egypt have already banned the transmission of the tv set channel for it alleged involvement on toppling the government and inciting violence and extremism on these countries, said the BFUJ leaders.
