22 Old Dhaka polythene factories fined
A mobile court operated by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a drive, fined 22 polythene factories Tk 26 lakh in old parts of the capital city.
RAB Executive Magistrate Sarwar Alam led the drive in Sowari Ghat area Wednesday (Mar 13) noon.
Electricity connections to the factories were also snapped.
Besides, 85 tons of polythene and various manufacturing materials were seized from the factories, said the RAB official.
