RAB official killed in road accident
A Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) official was killed died after being hit by a container in Kamlapur Railway Station in the city on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Sergent Md Abu Zafar of Communication and MIS Wing of RAB Headquarter.
The accident took place around 8pm in the railway station while he was receiving the goods for RAB officials, leaving him critically injured, RAB Headquarter sources said.
Later he was admitted to CMH Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead around 8:30pm, reports UNB.
