150 shanties gutted in fire at Cumilla Patti
Around 150 shanties were burned down after a good fire broke out in Maniknagar area of Dhaka in Sunday.
Lima Khanam, duty officer of Fire Provider and Civil Defence Headquarters, the fire originated at about 3:20pm at a tin-shed residence in Cumilla Patti
Seven firefighting units brought the fire in order at around 6.10 pm, explained the official.
The reason for the fire cannot be known immediately.
No casualty was reported, said Pronoy Kumar, officer-in-fee of Mugda Law enforcement Station.
