Youth gunned down by rivals
A young man was gunned down by miscreants in Chattogram city early Sunday.
Deceased Lokman Hossain, 35, was a resident of Pashushala area of Badsha Mia Road in the city.
Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police camp additional sub-inspector (ASI) Sheelbrata Barua confirmed the matter.
The ASI said the incident took place in Baklia Khalpar area.
One Md Shameem who brought bullet-hiot Lokman to hospital said a teenage boy of Baklia Khalpar area locked locked into an altercation with two other ones of Golpahar area.
They along with Lokman went there to settle the dispute. Lokman was shot to death by the rivals there, Shameem added.
Bullet-hit Lokman was brought to CMCH as dead, ASI Sheelbrata Barua said, reports a Bangla online portal.
