Writer Akimun Rahman  get 'Ananya literary'award
Writer Akimun Rahman get 'The Ananya Sahitya Puraskar' 1425, the fortnightly Ananya announced it on Tuesday. Akimun born in 1960 in Narayanganj,  completed her bachelors and masters at Dhaka University and did her PhD under prolific writer Humayun Azad. Her research was later published under the title 'Adhunik Bangla Upanyase Bastabatar Swarup' from Bangla Academy. 

Among her works 'Bibi Theke Begum', 'Sonar Kharkuto', 'Purusher Prithibite Ek Meye', 'Raktapunje Gnethe Jawa Machhi', 'Eisab Nibhrita Kuhak', 'Jibaner Purono Brittanta', 'Nirantar Purush Bhabna', 'Pouranik Purush', 'Sakshi Kebal Chaitra Maser Din', 'Jakhan Ghasera Amar Bara', and 'Achin Alokkumar O Naganya Manabi' are prominent. Alongside writing, Akimun teaches at East West University in Dhaka. 

This award will be handed over to her at a function on January 5 at the National Museum auditorium where poet Asad Chowdhury and writer Aktar Kamal will remain present as guests. The fortnightly Ananya introduced the literary award for women in Bengali year 1401.
