Woman, grandmother killed in Barguna house collapse
A woman and her grandson was killed after their a wooden house collapsed on them due to stormy wind in Patharghata upazila of Barguna district early Saturday.
Deceased Nurzahan, 60, and her grandson Zahidur, 9. They were residents of Badhghat area in the upazila.
According to villagers, the incident took place when the duo was sleeping in a room of the wooden house in the village.
Confirming the matter, Charduani Union's 2 no. ward member Shahin Mia said 40/45 more houses have been blown up in the storm.
