Woman drowns in Padma River
An elderly girl drowned while bathing in the Padma River around Harupur I-Dam in Rajshahi on Sunday afternoon.
Deceased Rakhimon Nesa, 60, was the wife of Tahar Ali, a resident of Kashiadanga Police Station place.
Locals said the girl drowned found in the river while consuming the afternoon. Later, participants of Sadar Fire Provider recovered the body.
