Ferry services resume on Kathalbari-Shimulia route
Ferry services on the Kathalbari-Shimulia route in Madaripur have resumed after about four and half hours of disruption.
The services have begun at 8:45 pm Saturday (January 12).
Earlier, authorities suspended the services due to thick fog.
The ferries which were stranded in Padma River have reached their destinations. Besides, the ferries stationed at the terminal have started their journey, said Abdus Salam, manager of Kathalbari ferry terminal.
