Nushrratt Bharuccha has constantly had glamourous image associated with her. I would always wish ki koi mujhe alag character deke toh dekho, at least give me that possibility."
In her next film, 'Chhori', a Hindi remake of the Marathi horror film, 'Lapachhapi, Nushrratt' plays a pregnant girl who along with her husband, moves right into a new house, which appears to be haunted. Talking about experimenting with several genres and individuals, she says, "I don't think even the audience really wants to observe me repeating my functions. I think they are incredibly accepting, it's only a matter of an individual (filmmakers) braving it up expressing, 'Nahi yaar… iss ladki ko yeh alag character deke dekhte hai'. Hansal Mehta's (director of 'Chhalaang') confidence in me helped me recreate my inner poise."
