Virus cases surpass 10,000; total deaths 182
The cases of coronavirus infections have stood at 10,143 in the country with recording the highest number of infections in last a day.
Some 688 new coronavirus cases and five deaths were recorded in last a day, taking the amount of deaths to 182.
Directorate General of Health Services additional director general Prof Dr Nasima Sultana confirmed the problem on Monday afternoon in the daily online bulletin on the coronavirus situation.
A total of 6,315 samples were tested previously a day where 688 patients found positive for the virus, she said.
Some 147 patients recovered through the period. With these, a complete of just one 1,210 patients recovered from the disease till today.
