US Embassy invites applications for Network Engagement Exchange Program
U.S. Embassy Dhaka is normally pleased to announce the decision for applications for a new U.S. government-funded civil society leadership program--the Community Engagement Exchange (CEE) Method, says a press release.  

THIS PROGRAM is a transformational one-year leadership development program designed to permit civil society leaders, ages 20-27, from communities from over 100 countries to harness the energy of networks, relationships, and information for the public good to handle critical 21st Century issue, including civic dialogue and peace-building, open and participatory government, women and gender, resilience and sustainable advancement, and youth engagement.  

The program includes a fully funded, three-month practicum at a civil society organization in America.  Request deadline:  Wednesday, December 23, 2020, 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) (Thursday, December 24, 2020 10:59 a.m. (BDT)). 

The goals of this program are to empower participants ("Fellows") to assume better leadership roles, build civil society capacity, improve participants' ability to lead collaboratively, and develop an ground breaking global civil society eco-system.  

As well as the fully-funded, three-month practicum in America, the program also contains both an online and face-to-face training component in leadership and community engagement, service learning opportunities, mentorship, and developmental support of Fellows' projects that will be undertaken in their home countries following a program.

THE CITY Engagement Exchange (CEE) Plan is merit-based and available to emerging civil society and community leaders from Bangladesh and other countries who meet up with the criteria below.  (Go to the CEE webpage bit.ly/CEE2021apply for various other participating countries.)  Applications that do not meet these eligibility requirements will come to be disqualified and will not really be examined by the choice committee.

●Between the ages of 20 and 27 by November 1, 2020
●A citizen of Bangladesh (discover CEE webpage for various other countries)
●Living and doing work at home country
●Individuals with refugee status focusing on behalf of their house community may be given special consideration
●Functioning on a community engagement initiative in your home region, either in a professional or volunteer capacity, with a perspective to pursue a job working to support civil society
●Superior proficiency in spoken and written English at the time of application
●Available to go to america. for 90 days from October 2021 to January 2022
●Committed to time for your home country to finish a Network Engagement Project (CEP)
●Certainly not a citizen or everlasting resident of the United States and have not requested U.S. long term residency within days gone by three years
●Applicants who have participated in an exchange system sponsored by the U.S. government will need to have fulfilled their two-year house residency requirement
●Committed to time for your house country for at the least 2 yrs after completing this program
