Urs at Mia Shaheb's Maidan Darbar Tuesday
The annual holy Urs marking the 10th death anniversary of Alhaz hazrat Shah Sufi Sayed Hamidullah (RA) will be held on Mia Shaheb's Maidan Darbar Sharif premises at Luxmibazar in Old City of Dhaka on Tuesday.
A daylong programmes has been organized on the day, including Qurankhwani, Waz Mahfil and Milad. New Gilaf will be put on the Mazar after Fazr prayers, and hamd, naat and religious discussions will be held.
A discussion on the life and activities of Alhaz Hazrat Shah Sufi Hamidullah, widely known as 8th Gaddinissian Pir of this Khankah Sharif has been organized after Asr prayers on the occasion.
The programme will begin through recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Hafez Faruq.
A milad mahfil has been organized after the Isha prayers which will be conducted by Pirjada Syed Abdus Salam.
The akheri munajat will be conducted by present pir (ninth gaddinashin) Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Ahamadur Rahim (damat barakatuhum) who is the fifth mutawalli of Hazrat Abu Yousuf Abdullah (RA) Waqf Estate and director of Shah Saheb Bari Jame masjid.
Later, Tabarak will be distributed among the devotees. Convener of the programme, Sayed Toiyab Morshed Araf has invited all to attend the function, said a press release.
