The horror-comedy gets its Bangladesh release
Shakib Khan, Nusrat Jahan and Sayantika Banerjee starrer 'Naqaab', which failed to attract the audience since its release last week in Kolkata has been released in Bangladesh on Friday.

This is the first itme Shakib Khan appeared in a film under the banner of SVF. In the horror comedy, Shakib's character can see and talk to spirits.

His life takes a swift turn when he encounters a spirit who looks just like him and he gets involved in a murder case eventually becoming a prime suspect. Will Shakib be able to prove his innocence? That's what forms the crux of the mystery.

Although Shakib failed to leave up to the expectations, the only moments of relief in the narrative is brought by Rudranil Ghosh, who manages to shine in comic roles with ease, despite a not so well-executed script. Rudranil's expressions manage to create some hilarious moments. Kharaj Mukherjee and Supriyo Dutta lend life to their villainous characters as well.

Interestingly, the film released on the day of Shakib Khan's son Abram Khan Joy's birthday. Shakib Khan is super excited that his film has been released on his son's birthday.

He said, "The day became really special for me. 'Naqaab' released on the same day as my son's birthday. 'Naqaab' is a totally different type of film. I hope people will love my new avatar."
