3 foreign films hit cinemas
Shakib Khan-starrer Tollywood film 'Bhaijan Elo Re' and two Hollywood films hit cinemas across the country on Friday.

The Hollywood films are Tom Cruise-starrer 'Mission Impossible: Fallout' and Denzel Washington-starrer 'The Equalizer 2'.

'Bhaijan Elo Re', directed by Joydip Mukherjee, has been imported by NU Ahmed Traders under the SAFTA agreement. The film, which was released in India on June 15 and did quite well in the box office, stars Shakib Khan in double role.

Indian actresses Srabanti Chatterjee and Payel Sarkar have acted opposite Sakib in the film. 'Local viewers have long been waiting for Bhaijan Elo Re, which did very well in West Bengal, India. 

We hope the local viewers will find the film entertaining', said Ananya Mamun, CEO of NU Ahmed Traders. 'Bhaijan Elo Re' was released in 109 cinemas across the country, informed Mamun.


'Mission Impossible: Fallout' is the sixth film of the Mission Impossible franchise. The action film, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, stars Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris,  Michelle Monaghan and Alec Baldwin, besides Tom Cruise. The film was released at Star Cineplex and Blockbuster Cinemas.


'The Equalizer 2', on the other hand, was released at Star Cineplex. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, The Equalizer 2 is a sequel to 2014 film The Equalizer. The film stars Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders, Melissa Leo, and Bill Pullman, and follows a retired DIA agent as he sets out on a path of revenge after one of his friends is killed.
