'Working with Shakib would be great'
Both Shakib Khan and Nusrat Faria have become quite popular in Kolkata and Bangladesh film industries. Faria started her career as a film actress through Jaaz Multimedia's 'Ashiqui'. Since then she has been mostly seen in Indo-Bangladeshi co-productions.
Even though she has starred in two Bangladeshi films, she was only being seen against Arifin Shuvo. And although Shakib Khan has established himself as one of the most successful actors in Bangladesh film history, people never saw Shakib Khan and Nusrat Faira together in a film. Now the wait is over.
For the first time ever, Nusrat Faria is going to be seen against Shakib Khan in a film. If everything goes right these two popular faces will be seen romancing each other in a film titled 'Shahenshah'. Produced by Shapla Media, the film is going to be directed by Shamim Ahmed Rony.
Selim Khan, the owner of Shapla Media informed that the primary talks with both the actors have been done. "If everything goes right, the 'Shubho Mahrat' (launching ceremony) will be held on August 27. After that we will begin shooting," said Selim Khan. "There will be many surprises which will unfold on the day of Shubho Mahrat," added Selim Khan.
About working with Shakib Khan for the first time, Nusrat Faria said, "Working with Shakib bhai would be great. I am returning to acting after a brief hiatus. I will try to do films outside of Jaaz Multimedia. Already I am talking about some films with the directors."
