Standard holiday declared for reddish zones in 5 more districts
The government on Mon (June 22) announced general holidays in some areas marked as ‘red zone’ by medical authorities in five more districts, because of high coronavirus infection risk.

The districts are Faridpur, Manikganj, Brahmanbaria, Narshingi and Kushtia. 

Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification found in this regard.

The notification stated the decision was taken up to control public activity strictly considering the threat of infection in the areas. The holidays will succeed only in the ‘reddish zones.’

All job-holders of any sector residing in the reddish colored zones will love the holidays.

Previously Sunday, general holidays were announced in 27 regions of 10 districts -- Chattogram, Bogura, Moulvibazar, Chuadanga, Jashore, Madaripur, Narayanganj, Habiganj, Munshiganj and Cumilla.
