Hefazat-e-Islam's ameer Allama Shafi at CMCH ICU
Hefazat-e-Islam's ameer Allama Ahmad Shafi's has again been hospitalised after he fell sick seriously.
Critically ill Ahmad Shafi was rushed to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) from Hathazari Madrasa on Sunday night.
He's now undergoing treatment at the ICU of the CMCH.
It had been confirmed by Brigadier General SM Humayun Kabir, Director of the CMCH.
Hefazat-e-Islam's sources have informed that around 95-year-old Allama Ahmad Shafi has been under close observation by doctors at the CMCH ICU.
Hefazat-e-Islam's central joint secretary general Mainuddin Ruhi said, "Hujur has been experiencing various old-age complications. As his physical condition had deteriorated in the evening, he was rushed to the CMCH where he was later admitted."
Previously April 11, Hefazat-e-Islam's ameer admitted to the Asgar Ali Hospital in Dhaka. After his recovery, he was taken to the Hathazari Madrasa in Chattogram.
Samples of his swabs were tested when he was underwent treatment at Asgar Ali Hospital. He tested positive for coronavirus. However, doctors said there is absolutely no coronavirus symptoms in his body now.
