Incarcerated foreign footballer dies in Ctg
Ntim Twum Frank, a foreign footballer who was simply incarcerated in Chattogram Central Jail, died today. The footballer was detained by local police after he was found in possession of yaba tablets in January this season.

The Ghanaian citizen Frank, who was simply under treatment at the Chattogram Medical Hospital (CMH), was declared dead this morning. Doctors mentioned 'septic shock' as the reason behind his demise.

Mohammad Kamal Hossain, senior jail superintendent at Chattogram Central Jail, said that Frank happened prisoner since January 4 after being charged in drug-related cases. But he fell sick and was admitted to CMH on April 29. Kamal also informed that Frank had slight fever and cough, for which he was admitted to hospital.

Frank, who used to play for a club in Bangladesh Premier League, was a professional football player. He was captured by Bakolia Thana Police after he was found carrying 7,500 pieces of yaba tablets while going to Dhaka from Cox's Bazar along with another Ghanaian for drug smuggling inside Bangladesh.
