Ship import postponed till Apr 7
The federal government has postponed ship import till April 7 because of growing concern over novel coronavirus.
Industries Ministry sent the letter to Bangladesh Ship Breakers and Recyclers Association (BSBRA) on Monday.
The order will succeed from today.
No 'No Objection Certificate (NOC)' for ship import will get in this period.
Besides, five ships imported for reactivation have already been sent for quarantine today. These will be stayed in the deep sea for next fourteen days.
Considering the health security of 35 officials, staff and personnel at ship reactivation commercial area, the Ministry of Industries took your choice.
