Sharmeen getting response for her first film 'Iti Tomar-e Dhaka'
11 directors-directed 11 stories based movie titled 'Iti Tomar-e Dhaka' was released across the country, last Friday. Krishnendu Chatterjee is one of the directors of this film. 

Sharmeen Ankhee acted in Krishnendu-directed movie Jinnah Is Dead. Sharmeen's acting in role of wife of a cleaner was highly appreciated by the viewers in that film. She is getting positive response for the film now. While talking in this regard Sharmeen Ankhee said, "To be part of this film, it is really an inspiring feeling for me. 

It has become a history because 'Iti Tomar-e Dhaka' is a film of 11 directors. I am also part of the history. From the releasing day of the movie I am getting positive response for the film from all including social media. I am grateful to them who are on the way to cinema halls."

Sharmeen Ankhee started acting in Chattogram. She has been regularly acting in Arindam Natya Sampraday there. Under the banner of this theatre group, Ankhee is acting in plays Kobi and Dutiar Chan regularly. For this reason, besides acting in TV plays, Ankhee acts in theatre plays in full swing. She will again go to Chattogram on December 13 for acting in play Dutiar Chan. Akbar Reza gives direction of the play.

In 2011, Sharmeen Ankhee first acted against Emon in Nargis Akhter's play titled 'Bhalobasha Ki Kore Bhalo Hoi'. Later she regularly acted under different directors' direction. Sharmeen Ankhee was mostly highlighted to act against Tahsan in Shihab Shahin-directed play 'Anamika'. She has already finished shooting of Noman Robin's movie A Quarter Mile Country. 

She also acted in Afzal Hossain Munna's short film 'Revolution'. She also finished work of drama serial 'Moddhyobortini'.  She performed as model in Banglalink's four TVCs under Bulbul Biswas' direction. She came into limelight to perform against Riaz in TVC of Harpic. She also performed in 10 more TVCs till now, Ankhee added.
