Mim admired for her new film 'Shapludu'
National Film Award winning actress Bidya Sinha Mim-starrer new film titled 'Shapludu' has hit the countrywide cinemas on last Friday, along with several theatres in Dhaka. For her performance as Pushpa in the film, Mim is receiving admiration from the viewers, the actress said.
The film marked the directorial debut of Golam Sohrab Dodul, a prominent small-screen director, on the big screen.After the release of the film, the audience also praised its story, making style and variations of shooting location as well as the performance of the artistes, the director informed.
Regarding receiving responses from the viewers, Mim said, "All of us gave our best efforts while performing our roles in 'Shapludu'. Everyone in the unit helped me a lot to portray my character appropriately. Now, I think my dedication and hard work paid off as I am receiving positive feedback from the viewers. I should say I am fascinated by the love of viewers."
The film also casts Arifin Shuvo, Tariq Anam Khan, Salauddin Lavlu, Zahid Hasan, Sushama Sarkar and Shatabdi Wadud, among others, in different characters.
