Scarlett discusses passing on 'Black Widow' mantle to Florence
Actor Scarlett Johansson says she conduct believe that her Black Widow co-celebrity Florence Pugh could succeed her seeing as the titular superhero and take on the franchise forward. After a decade and seven movies of playing the Russian very spy-turned- 'Avenger', Johansson is certainly expected to bid adieu to the type of Natasha Romanoff aka 'Black Widow' with the approaching film. Pugh, the star of films such as Little Females and Midsommar, plays the part of Yelena, Natasha's sister, in the Cate Shortland-directed movie.

During an interview with Total Film, Johansson was asked about her take on the thought of Pugh's Yelena overtaking the mantle of 'Dark Widow' from Natasha. "I definitely felt that approach from the beginning. She stands totally on her behalf own. She's solid and various. She's so different to Natasha. You as well start to see the generational difference, too, in how they react to stuff, and what they're cautious about, or what they're careless about," the 35-year-old actor said.

"It's so fresh, what she does. It is rather representative, likewise, of who she actually is as a person. She's unapologetic, and positive in herself, and curious, and brave, and emotionally brave - far more than I ever before was. And that products all comes through. It's amazing to feel like you're witnessing something superb happening," she added.
