Salahuddin promises a good continuation of the talent hunt
Bangladesh Football Federation President Kazi Salahuddin said that they might continue talent hunt programs in several phases throughout their four-year tenure.

BFF launched a talent hunt program on Saturday to choose young booters with aims to create teams for the upcoming age level competitions including SAFF U-15 Championship 2021, SAFF U-16 Championship 2022 and the qualifiers for AFC U-17 Championship 2023.

The selected booters will play in U-15, U-16 and U-17 teams beneath the supervision of BFF.

“This talent hunt program is merely a beginning, the first phase of our long plan. Our development committee will arrange talent hunt programs in a number of phases throughout our four-year tenure,” Salahuddin advised the reporters in the inaugural program at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.

“We will run numerous year-long training for numerous age level players. But we are in need of finance to supply them with better training facilities. I have applied to the government to aid us in this purpose.

“Hopefully, they will extend their helping hands. If they don’t in that case BFF has the ability to manage the project for at least two age level teams,” he added.

The trials will be held at 64 districts till February 25 under BFF trainers. A complete of nine trial sessions at nine distinct venues - Dhaka, Gopalganj, Bandarban, Khulna, Sunamganj, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Barishal and Sherpur - held on the starting day.

BFF Vice President and development committee Chairman Ataur Rahman Manik, General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, national team brain coach Jamie Moment, assistant coach Stuart Watkiss were as well present at the talent hunt launching function.
