Rashed, Smaran lend voice to Sabbir's music
'Close up 1' star Rashed and young singer Smaran have recently lent their voices in an original song titled 'Bahana'. Popular singer and music director Sabbir Zaman composed the music of the song while Jibak Barua penned the lyrics. The recording of 'Bahana' was completed quite some time ago, and arrangement is underway for a music video for the number.
Working in the music industry for more than five years as a music director, Sabbir Zaman initially planned the song keeping in mind the melody-oriented singing skills of Rashed. But he later brought in Smaran for the song.
"At the beginning, only Rashed was in my mind. But, I included Smaran in my plan later. Rashed has done justice to the song and so is Smaran. Smaran is a wonderful singer and she has a bright future in the music industry. I am optimistic that the duo's performance will win hearts of the audience."
Singing an original song with Smaran for the first time, Rashed said, "Bahana is a beautiful song. Sabbir tuned it incredibly. Some songs create hype in the mind of the singers. The song Bahana has been just like that. It was the first time I sang an original song with Smaran. I hope we can collaborate more in the future."
Expressing high hopes for the song, Smaran said, "I would like to express my gratitude to Sabbir Zaman for including me in such a beautiful and melodious song. A wonderful song is a blessing to a singer. I hope the audience will like my singing with Rashed bhai."
The song will be released on a YouTube channel soon after the completion of its music video, said Sabbir Zaman.
