Quader to be shifted to cabin 3-4 days later
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader is out of danger now following surgery.
“His IOBP machine has been removed. All the parameters are showing good results. He will be shifted to a cabin 3-4 days later,” Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Director Dr Abu Naser Rizvi said on Friday afternoon (March 22).
At 5 pm, Rizvi briefed Quader’s family members and others about Quader’s health condition quoting medical team formed for Obaidul Quader’s treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.
Quader underwent bypass surgery led by Cardiothoracic Surgeon Dr. Sibastan Kumar Sami on Wednesday (March 20).
Prior to his shift to Singapore hospital, Obaidul Quader underwent treatment at Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of BSMMU.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader was admitted to BSMMU because of breathing problems around 7:45am on March 3.
