Noted Indian cardiologist Devi Shetty coming to see Obaidul
Renowned Indian cardiologist Dr Devi Prasad Shetty is coming Bangladesh to see Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader now undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
Dr Shetty is scheduld to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at any time after 12 noon on Monday, said AL joint General Secretary Mahbub-Ul Haque Hanif.
A delegation of the BSMMU is present at the airport to receive the cardiac surgeon.
Meanwhile, BSMMU Vice Chancellor Dr Kanak Kanti Barua confirmed media about the matter.
The Road Transport and Bridges Minister was admitted to the BSMMU on Sunday morning with chest pain.
Doctors of the BSMMU have found three blocks in his coronary artery.
