Noor to make a cameo in Obaidul Quader's film
The film, which is being adapted from Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader's novel 'Ganchill,' will have a cameo from Minister of Cultural Affairs Asaduzzaman Noor. This will also be a comeback to the silver screen for veteran actor Asaduzzaman Noor, after a long break of 11 years.

The director for the film, Naim Imtiaz Niamul, told reporters: "On Saturday night, I met Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor at an event in The Westin Hotel Dhaka. I shared my desire to see him in the film. He has agreed to act in it. Currently he is busy with elections. He said that he will make time for us after the elections. We will film him very soon."

Noor last worked in Humayun Ahmed's 'Daruchini Dwip' in 2007. The launching ceremony of the film was held in September 19, and its shooting began in October. The story is about a romance, based on the life of people in the coastal belt of Cox's Bazar. The film will also mark the return of actor Purnima, who will play an NGO activist. Actor Ferdous will play the role of a journalist.
