'Notun Mukher Shondhane' rolls for new registration
The registration process for 'Notun Mukher Shondhane,' gets delayed due to the errors and security of their website. As a consequence, the organizers Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) and Bangladesh Film Directors Association (BFDA) are going to hold a new press conference regarding the registration on October 7. 

Earlier on 16 September the registration for the contest was inaugurated by Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor and State Minister of Information Tarana Halim. 

President of the association Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar informed that the previous website had technological issues in terms of money transaction. Therefore, they have bought a new domain and created a new site to start from scratch. The address and registration procedure through the new website will be effective from next Sunday. 

'Notun Mukher Shondhane,' is returning after a gap of 27 years and this time the talent hunt is open for seven categories. They are - Best Hero, Best Heroin, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Villain, Best Comedian and Best Child Artist. 

Initiated by Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) back in 1984, the contest discovered stars like Manna, Parveen Sultana Diti, Misha Sawdagar, Amit Hasan, Sohel Chowdhury, Amin Khan, and Sheli Quader (Manna's wife), among others.
