Porshi and her upcoming ventures
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr singer Porshi will release a music video titled 'Abdar', in which she will be seen performing besides singer Imran. The song has been penned by lyricist Rabiul Islam while it has been tuned and composed by singer Imran. It will be released on the YouTube video of CD Choice.
'The song is a romantic melody song. We have completed the shooting for the music video. I hope music lovers across the country will find the song entertaining,' Porshi said, who also spoke on her upcoming ventures.
'I have plans of releasing five consecutive songs after Eid-ul-Fitr,' said Porshi, who has recently recorded a playback song for an upcoming film. 'I have recently recorded a duet playback song with Hridoy Khan which is a sad melody song for Golam Sohrab Dodul's upcoming film titled 'Shap Ludu'.
Hridoy Khan is an experienced singer. I have enjoyed working with him,' she added. The film stars Arefin Shuvo, Bidya Sinha Mim, Zahid Hasan, Salauddin Lavlu and others. Porshi, 'I do not have any plans to release any solo album in near future.
I want to solely concentrate on playback songs,' when asked about whether she has plans of releasing solo album. Porshi emerged as a singer in the country's music scene in 2008 after she became the second runner-up in the musical reality show 'Khude Gaanraj' of private TV channel Channel-I. The singer's first album titled 'Porshi' was released in 2010. Her second solo album 'Porshi-2' was released in 2012 and her last solo album titled 'Porshi 3' was released on 2013.
