PM meets UN, WB chiefs
DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has met with the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres and World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim on Sunday (July 1).
The meeting was held around 11:00am at Shimul hall of Prime Minister’s Office after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina welcomed the UN and WB chiefs at the gate.
Rohingya crisis among various issues were discussed in the meeting.
The World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim arrived in the Dhaka on Saturday afternoon while the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres arrived early Sunday. They will visit Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar.
