PM Hasina's Japan go to postponed
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s go to to Japan has been postponed above the global outbreak of novel coronavirus, said Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen.
“The prime minister was scheduled to travel to Japan and meet up with the Japanese emperor.
However the visit has been postponed as the novel coronavirus circumstances have spread there as well,” he told reporters on Tuesday, reports bdnews24.com.
Hasina was scheduled to keep for Japan on Mar 30 on a good two-day official visit.
“We will go to Japan later plus they [Japan] have decided to the deferred method,” Momen said.
“A organization delegation always accompanies the prime minister during her foreign appointments to explore trade opportunities abroad,” he said.
Japan said it really is “extremely hard for a huge delegation to meet up many people there in these situations”.
Bangladesh scaled down the birth centenary celebrations for Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, place for Mar 17.
