Govt issues 17-level measures in order to avoid coronavirus
The government on Mon urged people not to panic and take precautionary measures for protecting against the spread of novel coronavirus or COVID-19, reports UNB.
Precautionary measures encouraged by the World Health Organisation, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and physicians include keeping clean rather than shaking hands or hugging anyone.
Bangladesh reported its primary coronavirus circumstances on Sunday. Rates of encounter masks and hand sanitisers, in particular, shot up following panic investing in of the products. The High Court has directed the federal government to use mobile courts to stop price tag hike of masks and hands wash.
The federal government has made a number of recommendations to keep safe. Included in these are --
1. Washing hands on a regular basis with soap, hand wash
2. Maintaining a distance around three feet from persons sneezing and coughing
3. Not touching eye, nose and oral cavity without washing hands
4. Covering face with tissue or use elbow while coughing and sneezing
5. Not spitting everywhere
6. Washing food effectively before cooking
7. Boiling food properly
8. Steering clear of sick persons or animals
9. Washing dresses after using once
10. Cleaning residences and workplaces regularly
11. Not walking barefoot
12. Refraining from handshake and hugging
13. Visiting medical professionals in the event of fever, cough and respiratory problem
14. Stick to advices of physicians and health workers
15. Residing at home in the event of sickness
16. Employing mask in crowd
17. Avoiding foreign tours
The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) asked people to call the hotline amounts of the institute if anyone has symptoms of coronavirus and the authorities concerned of IEDCR will accumulate samples after visiting properties.
