PM announces stimulus package of Tk 72,750cr
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced a financial stimulus package of Tk 72,750 crore to overcome coronavirus fallout.
The announcement originated from a press conference held at Sheikh Hasina's official residence Ganobhaban on Sunday morning.
While addressing the nation on March 25 on the occasion of the Independence and National Day 2020, the Premier announced a stimulus package of Tk 5,000 crore for export-oriented industries to fight the adverse impacts of coronavirus on the country's economy.
