Don’t take benefit of crisis: PM asks businessmen
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked businessmen never to take good thing about the coronavirus circumstance as there was zero shortage of goods on the market.

She developed the information about Wednesday while addressing the nation over the prevailing coronavirus circumstances of the country.

The premier said: “The supply chains (of products) in the united states and with outside world remain intact. Hence don’t hike the prices of the essential goods irrationally and increase the sufferings of the persons.” 

Sheikh Hasina said the united states was currently self-reliant found in food as satisfactory grains were now placed in government warehouses, personal mills and found in the farmers homes.

Besides, the PM said activities will be taken against persons who will be engaged found in spreading rumour on coronavirus.

Sheikh Hasina today said her government was ready to tackle any “hard situation” in view of the global coronavirus pandemic and simultaneously expressed her firm determination to get the war against the deadly virus.

The premier requested persons to stay home as it is the main methods to win the war against COVID-19. “Your recognition will keep you, your loved ones and the persons of the united states protected” she added.

Sheikh Hasina said protecting against people from getting infected with the virus was now her government’s highest priority seeing that she detailed the group of nationwide steps to avoid the pass on of the diseases.

She said: “This is a period for practicing austerity. Don’t buy anything beyond minimal necessity. Usually do not hoard goods and give scopes to persons with limited profits to get their essentials.”

In her 23-minute speech, the premier said the Bengalis certainly are a brave nation in tackling various disasters and crisis mutually in the past.

Sheikh Hasina hoped to overcome the problem with united efforts of all.
