People's suffering continues for 2nd day of transport strike
City dwellers are suffering for the second consecutive day on Monday as transport workers are continuing their 48-hour countrywide strike.
No public transport was seen plying at Mohakhali, Banani, Kuril Bishwa Road areas this morning.
Leaders of 'Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation' said no transport will ply until their 48-hours strike is ended.
Like yesterday, office-goers and students are the worst sufferers as rickshaw-pullers and App-based ride-share services are demanding extra fares.
The workers under the banner 'Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation' began the work abstention from 6am on Sunday to press home for their eight-point demand.
