One more police SI dies of coronavirus
Another police official died of COVID-19 at Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital in the administrative centre at early hours of Saturday.
Deceased Sultan Arefin was the sub-inspector of Public Order Management in Dhaka.
With this, the number of law enforcer's death from the virus infection rose to five.
A healthcare facility super Hasan Ul Haider said Sultan have been admitted to a healthcare facility on April 30 with COVID-19 infection. In addition to the corona, he had also been experiencing respiratory problem.
Police Headquarters AIG (media and PR) Sohel Rana said the policeman breathed his last at the ICU of the hospital at early hours.
His body was delivered to his village home in Jamalapur where he'll be buried.
