Rizvi among 10 harm in police attack
Police charged baton on BNP guys while they brought out a protest procession found in city's Mirpur location on Saturday that still left at least 10 persons, including Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, injured.
The BNP men presented the procession, led by its senior joint secretary general Rizvi, around 11am challenging jailed Khaleda Zia's release.
Rizvi alleged that regulations enforcers all of the sudden attacked their calm procession and began to work with baton that forced the BNP leaders and activists to disperse.
Highly condemning the attack, the senior BNP leader said, "Attack and case won't repress BNP's democratic movement."
