Nuhash's 'Pizza Bhai' to be released
Nuhash Humayun's new short film 'Pizza Bhai' will be released on Bioscope. Nuhash wrote the screenplay and also directed the film. The plot of the film concerns a part-time pizza delivery boy, Partho, who only works nights.

He struggles to make ends meet just like any ordinary person. A certain incident causes Partho to get involved in the drug-peddling business. In the upper class areas of Dhaka, Partho delivers pizza as well as narcotics. Eventually the delivery man slowly starts losing himself in the darkness of drugs, which is the crux of the story.

Regarding the film, Nuhash said: "The film was conceived from the rise in popularity of pizzas in Dhaka's night-life. I once ordered a pizza and fell asleep. The poor delivery man waited patiently in front of my door for half an hour before I opened it, and this lead me to become curious about their grueling life. I wondered what adventures they have on each and every delivery. So I put a spin on their story and connected it with Dhaka's night-life.

Rahat Rahman, from Buttfixx fame, plays the titular role of 'Pizza Bhai.'  Regarding his casting, Nuhash said: "He and I both worked for the anthology film 'Sincerely Yours, Dhaka,' which was screened recently at the Busan International Film Festival.

We both went to attend the screening and on our way back we were stuck for a while without any internet due to a raging typhoon. At that juncture we really bonded, and had long discussions on online content. When I wrote 'Pizza Bhai' I had him in mind while writing the script, and he agreed to play the part, so it worked out well."
