No coronavirus case within country: IEDCR
The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Study (IEDCR) today said no case of Coronavirus was within the country.
IEDCR Director Prof Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora said this in a press discussion at the institute’s office at Mahakhali, BSS records.
“Don’t be panicked with Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as no circumstance was found till today… We also don’t have any kind of medical report to this end,” she said.
Quoting the latest reports of Consulate of the Republic of Singapore in Coronavirus, she explained five Coronavirus affected Bangladeshis were accepted to Singaporean hospitals.
Of them, one reaches Incentive Care Unit (ICU) while four others were kept in quarantine, she said.
She said a complete of 77 Coronavirus affected patients are undergoing treatment in Singapore. The 312 Bangladeshis who went back residence from China’s Wuhan happen to be safe, she said.
