IEDCR to release 312 Wuhan-returned after final screening today
he Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) is defined to release 312 people, kept at Ashkona Hajj camp and Combined Military Hospital for observation since 1 February, after screening them today (Saturday), reports news agency UNB.

“All are in good shape,” IEDCR director Meerjady Sabrina Flora told the media at the institute on Friday.

IEDCR has so far tested samples of 62 patients and found no COVID-19 case, she added.

In Singapore, four Bangladeshis have already been tested positive for COVID-19. They are undergoing treatment there, Flora said.

“One of them has been kept in ICU. Besides, six Bangladeshis were kept in quarantine there,” the IEDCR director added.

The viral outbreak that commenced in China has up to now infected a lot more than 64,000 persons globally and killed over 1500.

IEDCR said that it has screened 13,542 persons in the last a day until Friday morning if they were entering the united states through different airports, sea ports and land ports.

None of them were found to be infected in the deadly virus, the IEDC authorities added.
