China-returnee student admitted to RMCH
A Bangladeshi student, who returned from China recently, has been admitted to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) on Saturday (February 8).
He was kept under observation at a ward immediately after admission.
Tazbid Hossain, hailing from Domar upazila under Nilphamari district, returned from China at around 11:30 pm on January 29.
According to RMCH source, Tazbid Hossain went home after undergoing tests upon his arrival. Later, he was diagnosed with fever, cough and respiratory problems.
“Tazbid Hossain came from China. He has no fever at present, but respiratory problems. He has been kept under observation. Examination will reveal whether he has Coronavirus. If found, it will be informed through a press conference,” said RMCH director Dr. Faridul Islam.
