Netrokona madrasa principal confesses to raping 6 students
Principal of a female madrasa in Netrokona's Kendua upazila gave confessional statement before the court that he raped six minor students in a year.
The statement was recorded at the court of Netrokona Judicial Magistrate court Saturday (July 6).
Netrokona Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP, Crime) Mohammad Shahjahan Mia confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
Atharbari Ma Hawa Qawmi Mohila Madrasa Principal Maolana Abul Khair Belali was accused in two cases filed with Kendua Police Station Friday (July 5), over raping two girls.
Belali told police that he used holy Quran to swear the girls to keep the incidents secret.
