Moyur-2 owner arrested
Mosaddek Hanif Swad, owner of Moyur-2 start, arrested in a circumstance filed over a release capsize found in the Buriganga River on June 29 that kept 32 people dead.
Confirming the matter, superintendent of Dhaka zone river police Khandaker Faridul Islam explained, on secret data, a team raided a flat in city's Sobhanbag spot at early hours of Thursday and arrested Mosaddek from there.
Munshiganj-bound release 'Morning Bird' with above 100 passengers on board capsized on the river Buriganga at Sadarghat just after being reach by another vessel 'Moyur-2' around 9:33am on June 29.
The next day, naval police SI Shamsul Alam lodged a case with Keraniganj Police Station accusing seven persons.
