Test cricket returns seeing that rain impacts England vs West Indies
International cricket returned on Wednesday following a four-month absence with England and the West Indies managing only 82 minutes of play in a rain-hit beginning day of the primary test that started with players going for a knee to get the Black Lives Matter movement.
England was 35-1 at stumps having faced only 17.4 overs as a result of light but intermittent rain at Southampton’s Rose Bowl, where there were no spectators for a meet being played within an isolated environment as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
