Mahdiyah’s latest track inspired by Runa Laila
Mahdiyah Naim the youngest daughter of the real-life celebrity couple, Naim and Shabnaz is going to release a new song titled ‘Onek Brishti Jhore’ on her YouTube channel. She has already released three cover songs on her YouTube channel singer ‘Mahdiyah Naim’
The song ‘Onek Brishti Jhore’ was originally rendered by internationally-acclaimed singer Runa Laila. Inspired by the great singer’s amiable personality and colourful career, Mahdiyah has sung the song paying tribute to the living legend.
Syeed Sujan has done the music arrangement of the song while the tune of the song remains intact. The song was written by Abu Hena Mostafa and tuned by Abdul Ahad.
Meanwhile, Mahdiyah, accompanied by her parents, met Runa Laila at the latter’s residence recently for taking blessing from the iconic figure whom she always follows with respect. Runa Laila appreciated Mahdiyah’s wonderful performance after listening to the young singer. The famed-singer also wished Mahdiyah a bright future.
Mahdiyah said, “I got fascinated to see countless awards at the residence of Runa madam during my first ever visit to her. At the same time, I was hugely inspired and felt that I have to earn accolades like these by enthralling everyone with my singing.”
“I lost my words when Runa madam hugged me during our first meeting and praised my singing. She is so simple, even after being an artist of such high stature”, Mahdiyah added. Naim said about her daughter, “Truly speaking, Mahdiyah cannot practise her music properly due to study pressure. Otherwise, she could have done better in music.”
