Lorry driver arrested for smuggling four migrants, including Bangladeshis out of UK
A Romanian lorry driver has been arrested on suspicion of wanting to smuggle people out of your UK, report SUNLIGHT and birminghammail.co.uk.

The 37-year-old was arrested at the Port of Dover on Thursday afternoon (1 October).

Officers learned four adult male migrants, two from Bangladesh, one Indian and one Egyptian, trying to leave the united states in the back of a trailer..

These were all suspected of experiencing been in the united kingdom illegally and also have been handed to the immigration authorities to be handled. The lorry was booked to sail on a ferry to Calais later that day.

NCA branch commander Andy Noyes said: “Criminal groups involved with people smuggling do not value the safety or wellbeing of those they transport. They just see them as a commodity to be profited from." Officers say they are determined to accomplish what they are able to to 'disrupt their activities'.
