Lightning strike kills youth in Sunamganj
A lightning strike has killed a worker and injured two others while they were pulling stone out of the Sela River in Dowarabazar upazila of the district.
The incident happened at Narsinghopur union of in Dowarabazar upazila on Tuesday (April 9).
The victim was identified as Ali Hossen, 27, son of late Shafir Uddin, of Sonapur village of the abovementioned area.
“One youth was killed on the spot and two others, injured from the incident, are having treatment at Dowarabazar Upazila Health Complex,” Sushil Ranjan Das, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dowarabazar police station told Banglanews.
