Lightning kills 2 in Jessore
Two persons were killed and two others injured after getting struck by lightning in Kismat Mahmudpur village in Bagherpara upazila of Jessore Thursday noon (Sept 13).
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Ali, 14, son of one Hossain Ali Sardar from the village and Sabbir Hoosain, 22, son of one Sahab Molla from the same area.
Moreover, two others- Rezwan Hossain, 14 and Mitu Khatun, 14- were injured and taken to Jessore General Hospital.
According deceased’s family sources, they were standing in a local shop when the lightning stroke.
Jessore General Hospital physician Dr. Kallol Kumar Saha told Banglanews the two lighting-hit persons died before arriving to hospital while the other two are being treated.
