Khulna's train services restore after 9hrs
Khulna's rail communication with other areas became normal around 11:40 am on Tuesday, after nine hours of the suspension.
Kotchandpur station manager Golam Mostafa said the train services resumed after a relief train from Ishwardi recovered the bogies.
Defying signal, an oil-laden educate collided head-about with a goods-laden single as both vehicles entered the same rail brand by Safdalpur Railway Station under Kotchandpur Upazila of Jhenidah about 2:30 am.
As a result, motors of the trains plus some bogies were damaged, suspending rail communication.
